Image
Equinox 2018 will be at 9:45 PM on Tuesday, 20 March. WHAT? The  March equinox or  spring equinox  is the  equinox on the  Earth  when the sub solar point appears to leave the southern hemisphere and cross the celestial equator, heading northward as seen from Earth. In the Northern Hemisphere the March equinox is known as the vernal equinox , and in the  Southern Hemisphere as the autumnal equinox . The March equinox may be taken to mark the beginning of spring and the end of winter in the Northern Hemisphere but marks the beginning of autumn and the end of summer in the Southern Hemisphere WHEN? This date is when day and night are around the same length, each lasting around 12 hours. It usually takes place on 19, 20 or 21 March every year. In the southern hemisphere, the opposite occurs, as autumn begins at the same time. Spring starts in September south of the equator on the same day autumn starts north of the equator.   HOW IT’S CELEBRATED ACROSS THE

Goodyear’s Moss-Filled Tires Are Here to Save the Environment

Image
To combat  air pollution , Goodyear has debuted a tire design that uses moss to both power the tires' internal sensors and absorb carbon dioxide from the air. At the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show, the tire fabricating organization Goodyear appeared another sort of tire that intends to lessen the measure of carbon dioxide noticeable all around.  The idea driving new tires, named Oxygene , is one of a kind — it includes implanting living greenery inside the tires' sidewalls. The greenery filled tires not just ingest dampness from streets while in movement, however can likewise haul carbon dioxide out of the air to fuel the greenery's photosynthesis.  These tires could deliver 3,000 tons of oxygen and retain more than 4,000 tons of carbon dioxide every year  Including a few execution arrangements:  • Cleaning the Air We Breathe  • Recycling Worn Tires  • Generating its Own Electricity  • Communicating at the Speed of Light  &qu

Some of nature’s most exquisite handiwork is on a miniature scale, as anyone knows who has applied a magnifying glass to a snowflake. On 20 December 2013, the Sixty-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly decided to proclaim 3 March as World Wildlife Day to celebrate and raise awareness of the world’s wild fauna and flora. The date is the day of the adoption of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) in 1973, which plays an important role in ensuring that international trade does not threaten the species’ survival. Previously, 3 March had been designated as World Wildlife Day in a resolution made at the 16th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to CITES (CoP16) held in Bangkok from 3 to 14 March 2013. Cheetah populations have decreased so much that in Africa they are now only found in 10% of their historic range! RT if you care about protecting BigCats . The has lost 95% of wild tigers
